HEPATITIS ACT

Hepatitis ACT is Canberra’s community hepatitis organisation. We work to raise awareness of viral hepatitis and to help prevent transmission and the impacts for people affected. In Australia there are 28,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people diagnosed with hep B and 11,000 diagnosed with hep C. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are a priority focus for Hepatitis ACT as we raise awareness and knowledge of hepatitis B and hepatitis C and encourage uptake of testing, appropriate management, and treatment.
