Together, we can improve the understanding of what Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Health Practitioners do and help to ensure this workforce is embedded as a vital, valued and professional component of Australia’s health care system. Evidence directly connects their roles to improved Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes.

All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Health Practitioners – past and present – can become members. We also encourage professional bodies and/or non Indigenous friends to help by becoming a Corporate Friend or Friend of NAATSIHWP.

Applications are approved by the NAATSIHWP Board.
